We're thrilled to hear that you had a terrific experience on our Las Vegas Food Tour and enjoyed the restaurants we visited. Overall we had a good time, but we dropped a star because of the lack of "uniquely Vegas" fare. What stood out was the walking parts of the tour, going through Caesars Palace, passing the soon-to-be demolished Mirage (and the fake Disney characters and topless-with-pasties ladies out hocking for photos that can only happen in Vegas), and the Venitian and Caesars Forum shops. Ramsay's wings and nachos were excellent, Pronto's boozy sorbet Gelato was tasty, True Food's pizza was unique, but not a huge hit for us, Buddy V's had some great meatballs and eggplant parm, and Royce's chocolates were.chocolate. Overall, we were pleased with what we were offered, but we didn't get that "wow" factor of getting something we can't find anywhere else (almost all of these things are as good or better in Chicago). We had 5 stops: Gordon Ramsay's Pub & Grille, Pronto by Giada, True Food Kitchen (all 3 of these in Cesar's), Buddy V's Ristorante, and Royce Chocolate (both in the Venitian). It was themed for celebrity chefs with restaurants in Vegas. The food was good, but wasn't "unique to Las Vegas" per se', which is sorta what we were hoping to get. She did her best to accommodate our picky eater in the group while keeping things light, informative, and super friendly.
